Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe
This morning, embark on an exhilarating chimpanzee tracking adventure. Accompanied by expert guides, you’ll venture into the forest to observe these remarkable primates in their natural habitat. The experience can take several hours, so be prepared for a morning of excitement and exploration. After, go for a guided birdwatching tour, where you can spot some of the 300 bird species found in the park. Alternatively, enjoy a tea plantation tour in the nearby town of Kitabi, learning about Rwandan tea production and sampling fresh brews. When you return, take some time to relax at your lodge’s spa or take in the sunset over the mountains.
